Z. Buon anno!

Yes, that's Italian and it means Happy New Year!

Above is the video of Cheston and I wishing you guys Happy New Year. Next.

Resolutions for year 2010 that I could think of right now are :
☑ Master conversational Italian
☑ Fill my brains with aviation knowledge
☑ Repair and improve my relationships with everyone
☑ Learn to play the bloody guitar
☑ Pick up violin again

Here I would like to express my deepest regret of not being with the rest of you, except Cheston. The feeling of inadequacy really kills. You have no idea how much I miss the great times with Cousin, Yousif, Big Mo, Sonali and Ibrahim in Malaysia during Christmas and 2009 New Year.

Hey, if you guys wanna know more about what kinda adventure Cheston and I took after the New Year Countdown at the Fields, click "Read more »" and I really hope you guys would spend just five minutes reading it.

Continued...

The very last day of year 2009 and the very first few hours of 2010 (GMT +0800) with just Cheston was merely enough. We had very spontaneous night at the Fields though.

Let me explain.

First, these Filipinos closed almost all the eateries around SM, Fields and Balibago. We had to walk all the way to Balibago thinking we could have a peaceful and mouthful dinner at the Hong Kong Fortune Seafood Restaurant. Shyt, it was closed. Then we were peeking further front to see if Coffee Academy was open and NO, it wasn't. Fine, we took a jeep and went back to the Fields but we didn't wanna have Arabic food at Red Sea, so, we went to Paradise Beer Garden opposite Red Sea. The environment was nice and the food was too.

After that, we watched people playing snooker for like about two hours and then decided to leave. While going, that's when all the drama started! People were having fun and fire works were on display every corner! It was nice but really dangerous! Some people were holding those rocket fireworks and slipped through their hand, leading the lit rocket flying, hitting unawared audience!

Okay, enough of that. We were waiting for the clock to strike 12 and more fireworks were displayed. On the way back, there was no jeepney at all. We decided to do something different on the first day of the year - walk back to Base!

We kept walking and while passing the intersection to Subic Expressway, the traffic officer were trying to "help" us by offering both of us a ride back with his motorbike with condition. P200 for "gas" was what he wanted. We refused.

We continued walking all the way to Omni and only until then, a kind Stotsenbergs driver stopped by and asked if we could use some help. We explained our circumstances and he happily took us straight back to Clark Aviation and we were grateful.

That was it. Spontaneous and sligthly adventurous!
Hope you guys are having fun right now!
